the july 15 WT mentioned how god is still resting...confident that his plan is being worked out

for some reason i had never thought about why the hell god would even need or want a "rest day"....i mean for crying out loud according WT god only created ONE thing....da baby jesus. how boring to let him create EVERYTHING else

i have always thought that really odd...dont creators like to create? most artists of all types love what they do and they keep creating beautiful art for many years...perhaps their entire life...

can you imagine a great artist creating only one work of art, then quitting, and being content to watch some other artist create ALL other art while the resting artist somehow still gets all the credit?.................................oompa

ProdigalSon, that is a great scripture. second time in a week i have seen it here. i have always liked it cause it says god creates evil, but it does say "I form the light and create darkness"...not that the baby jesus did. how does wt explain away this scripture??......oompa

god created ONE artist. This artist works day and night and does all the work for god. god takes credit for OTHER peoples work. Why Jehovah claims to be all-powerful when all he made was one thing, and then he used it to have it make all other things. Rather than make anything else, Jehovah would rather create trouble for everyone else while Jesus does all the hard work--yet, that Almighty Lowlife Scumbag gets all the credit.

And, for Jesus having actually done all the hard work, it was Jesus that died trying to liberate us from Jehovah.

If God, the Supreme God, the Absolute, was "resting", everything would cease to exist, in every dimension everywhere. Nothing can exist apart from the Divine Source of all energy.

We've been flim-flammed by reading the Bible literally without being told its esoteric interpretation. The roles have been reversed. Jesus would have never said to "be wise as serpents" if the serpent symbolized the bad guy....

Jehovah is actually "Satan", the Adversary, and "Satan" is really the Light-Bearer, the cosmic reflection of the true God, the closest thing we're going to get to "God" while we are stuck in physical matter. Basically, Spirit and Matter do not mix.
