I'm just wondering... what is it that you Watchtower defenders think you're going to accomplish by coming here into "Tartarus" and preaching to us? Do you think have to save us?
Undercover apostates...

While this action taken may seem to be harsh, the outworking of events wouldn't be much different in one of Christendom's Churches. If I used a Catholic Church as a platform to proselytize I'd quickly be shown the door and asked to leave.
Undercover is not the same as "subversive". The vast majority of undercover "apostates" aren't going to the hall to "proselytize", they're there to be with their families.
If you mind your manners and don't create a disturbance, you're more than welcome at our parish's church. Every Sunday there are unbelievers in the pews, most with their families but some without, and that is no problem. They are not "shown the door", they are not shunned, they are not pressured or treated differently from any other person in the congregation. I hope the same applies at your kingdom hall.

Spade: I have a cousin that was raised as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. When he graduated from college and left home he completely quit attending meetings. This doesn't change the fact that he's still welcome in the family.
Oh, well, then by all means - that sets the standard for all JWs, Spade.
Are you being willfully ignorant? Do you think everyone on here is lying when they speak of losing their relationships with family over their loss of faith in the organization??
I personally wouldn't engage in or disengage in a religion for family related reasons. That would give me a headache. I guess it makes sense to someone, but I don't really understand this.
An egocentric person cannot fully empathize, i.e. "put himself in other peoples' shoes", and believes everyone sees what she/he sees (or that what he/she sees, in some way, exceeds what others see).

Good for you Maze. Your are clearly not in a situation where this has been considered necessary. A bit like someone commenting on what he or she to do in a violent relationship when they themselves have never been in one. What a luxury. On the other matter about the JW family still accepting their member who went to university and who did not stay in the organization - that is indeed a refreshing exception - all the more noteworthy because it is exceptional.

I engage in religious and political discussions on the internet as a challenge. If I could “save” a person in an online discussion group, I would. Such a thing isn't possible.

Let me get this straight:
1. You - Alice/Rachel/Consfearacy/Spade/SuperSpook......and now Maze - start a topic bashing so-called "undercover apostates".
2. You - Alice/Rachel/Consfearacy/Spade/SuperSpook......and now Maze - do not respond to a single one of the heartfelt responses you have gotten for 4 pages......
3. But you take the time to respond to an obscure ( no offense, Prodigal, I loves ya! ) question that is off-topic, instead of getting your thread back on topic??????
You just posted that last comment to continue stirring the pot, you don't even care what is in that pot, as long as its a-boiling!!
You are the very epitome of a TROLL.

Maze, you don't even believe in this religion that you claim to support, because if you did you would follow their advice and stay away from this site.
How can you "save" anybody when you don't believe in it yourself?

MAZE- It should be pretty obvious as to the reasons " undercover apostates " come on boards like these...... It's the only place they can get access to REAL truth and honesty ! The WT society is so busy handing out BS information about " overlapping generations " and how taking blood fractions is really NOT taking blood . I mean- come on. Lots of elders & ministerial servants are coming on here and trying to get feedback on HOW to save their wives and children from this JW mind controlled organization.
Face it- if these lurking JW's were to admit they were doing this - only THEN would they face a possible JC meeting with elders. Ever see the movie " Catch Me if You Can " ? It's the same idea. If the elders can't catch them , then more power to them. They are saving themselves and their family AND at the same time controlling the freedom for THEMSELVES as to when they exit the Witnesses - instead of having ELDERS tell them when to leave the JW's. The power and control inactive JW's and lurking JW's can have secretly on their own destiny is invigorating and energizing ! Keep on keeping on all ye JW lurkers
