Did you ever notice that the miracles in the bible were always limited to the thinking / technology of the time?
... turning things into wine, blood, bread, fish, etc... never cornish pasties, donuts, swiss chocolate, lemon merangue, or baileys on ice.
He was pretty good at chasing some poor farmer's pigs into rivers and killing fig trees too.
Probably hung over at the time.
I'm not the best after a night on my own plonk but I don't take it out on other people's stuff.
Great point about his first miracle. I read historical Jesus books compulsively. Maybe he was starting small to build momentum. Tell it to the lepers or were not healed. I've often wondered why he did not heal everyone in the world since the church teaches us he had the power. His healing appears very local. So maybe some kind of weird physical connection was necessary.

The word translated "wine" in English can refer to either
Alcoholic or non-Alcoholic, we assume it means Alcoholic.
For example, Joel 1;10 ( A plague of locusts) The fields are
laid waste, the ground mourns, because the grain is
destroyed, the wine fails the oil languishes. (this refers
to graps dried up in the fields, which could not be
intoxiacting)
Isaiah 65;8 Thus saith the Lord, as the new wine is found
in cluster,( have you ever seen wine in cluster).
Jeremiah 48:3 I have caused wine to fail from the winepresses,
(the wine of fresh squeezed grapes coming out of A
winepress, in my book it,s grape juice). Now I am finish
