The Watchtower Society likes to mince around like a transvestite in fabulous clothing being noticed and doing outrageous things.
Except it isn't their clothing. It is their STYLE. Yes there is a style connected to the society. It is dipshit seriousness and utter conviction.
Whatever we are told to believe we do so with enormous conviction and enthusiasm. We dubs are loyal and outrageous. Yup yup yup.
The Governing Body/WTBTS is guilty of speculating on numerous occasions on numerous topics and of violating each time the Bible rule @ 1Cor 4:6....'Do Not Go Beyond The Things That Are Written'.
All the blame goes to "some of the brothers" or "others".
So, Brother Some or Brother Other is to blame for interpetation of the written article or heard the talk from a GB member or CO / DO and ran with it!
Never, ever will the apology come from the real source with a true repentant attitude. If one of the R&F did this they would be DFd.
Like it or not like it, the outside world says the Witnesses claimed 1975 to be the end. They can deny all they want, but there is enough evidence they did to have it be lumped in to other religions who have false claimed the end throughout history.

He was right on that account, the JWS of that time ate it up like freshly made hotcakes.

WTS. literature sales soared in the years following up to 1975. Shortly after 1975 there was little explanation, they even had the audacity
to come out and say well some of are brothers overly exemplified the date, in other words passing the guilt off of themselves.

I think the phrase Blind faith comes to mind, people have been so emotionally committed to the WTS. and all of what the organizations says,
there is a contrived confidence in what anything they say, about themselves or anything else for that matter .
I think most of this intellectual delusion starts out firstly by not having a high amount of education stored upstairs individually.
This buildup element of trust between the organization and the individual carries through with upholding arrogance that we have it right
and all the others have it wrong. We are true, they are false, of course all supportively underwritten by the prevalence of fear.
Being that there is always a watchful eye for any dissenters and to quickly muzzle them so no one else talks to them,
they have formulated a dictatorship within the entire organization, they literally have created a cant lose scenario for themselves.
