Its difficult to say if its worth reading.

Its a question of personal taste.

I read it in two days.

I even got up in the middle of the night to finish it.

just finished it, (am a quick reader) it was interesting to read about other religous points of view, put it that way. Plot wise i thought there were one too many twists

I have read all Dan Brown's books except the last one. I enjoyed all of them.

I read it ages ago. I couldn't put it down...finished in less than 2 days. My issue was that there was no way anyone could have done all they did, and traveled as they did in that short amount of time.

I read the first chapter and decided to bypass the book and watch the movie. Interesting but nothing earth shattering for me. I personally believe Jesus was married to Mary Magdalene and they had children. As for the Vatican and their secret archives, I found it quite fascinating that they would advertise its existence in a Hollywood flick.

If I was going to choose between the two, I would go with the Dalai Lama any day of the week. Dan Brown can change your mind, but the Dalai Lama can change your life, imo.

You can go on Da Vinci Code Tours in Paris.

If you thought this was just a story, it will make you realise its true.

I read it and enjoyed it, particularly the little tibits of interesting history scattered throughout. I liked it better than 'Angels and Demons' and his most recent book, which were a little TOO out there for my taste. If you're looking for a good book that explores the 'did Jesus marry and have children debate', then I recommend 'The Expected One' by Kathleen McGowan.
