You would be better off starting your own retirement fund in your own name.
401Ks and IRAs are not safe from wholesale seizure/nationalization. This happened in Argentina.

Really sad how Social Security and Medi-Care is going down the drain and how our 401k and IRAs will fall into the hands of the government to use. I hope and pray that this will never happen.
