I'm local to both Birmingham and the Black Country (I have some difficulty understanding the dialect, lol). I felt compelled to post this picture, a Black Country pub which has 'subsided' due to mining industry - you feel Brahms before even having a drink, lol (Brahms = Brahms and Liszt = p*ssed)

If i use Knackered or arse in front of my mom i get the ''mom'' look! Lol.. I just say it's our dialect and she should be proud we have such colourful language. Lol
