This is a story about a famous UK footballer who had an affair. He took the unusal step of going to court and getting an injuntion to prevent his mistress and the media from naming him. This enraged the mistress and media and his name has now been leaked. The internet is awash with it.

The result being that what would have been just another "kiss and tell" probably over with in one day, has turned into a major and damaging story.

I'm not interested in football at all, but hearing that half the UK now know who this person is even though we arn't allowed to made me so curious that i did an internet search.

I knew his name about 1 min later... Do you?

The injuction does not apply in Scotland as the injunction was obtaioned in the English High Court which has no jurisdiction in Scotland. This is why the Sunday Herald in Scotland printed his picture on the front cover as they were exempt from the injunction.

It is all a nonsense - I bet he wishes he went public about his wee affair - attempting to hide it has back fired hugely.
