Mais, oui, ma cherie. Ca c'est tres bon!
(Yes, dearest, that is very good!)

That's not only a phrase but a philosophy of life where I come from. The Cajuns are always looking for a good time. They have joy of life that is difficult to describe, very intense. They were driven from their homes and displaced in a very hostile environment (the Lousiana swamps) and instead of perishing they dug in and held on to their culture. --And all of this without government aid OR affirmative action!

So, what is your religious persuasion if I may ask?

    waiting,

MrT is I believe a land dessert turtle. We adopted him from some people that just did not want him anymore. You tell how old they are by the humps on their shell and count the rings. We have had two guesses about his age from people who had turtles like him. One said 85, the other said 90. I think Jake is a box turtle. All he eats is large night crawlers and bugs he catches. MrT eats fruit and vegetables. He loves watermellon and bannanas and strawberries. MrT is about 15 inches long seven inches high and weighs about 4 or 5 pounds. I never have weighed him. I am guessing.

I forgot to mention my oldest daughter has a hamster named Tiny and a siamese fighting fish.
The hamster is so tame it follows people around. Usually they run and hide somewhere.

    hi
I'm from Switzerland. My wife is asian and we have a cute little daughter.
We are sourrounded with mountains and enjoy skiing and hiking. No pets, but a lot of animals around the house.
My wife and me are witnesses for years, but more a "neutral witness" since we know some facts about the WTS.
I enjoy the freedom of writing in the internet and I'm glad to have such forums like this one.
    Thanks Simon!

    Seven,

While we Cajuns are distrustful of Yankees I can't imagine YOU not being welcome anywere.

I've often wondered why the Cajuns are so fun-loving. It's not that they are carefree because as a rule (although I know a few who are the exception!) they are hard working people. I guess it's because life for them was so hard that they took pleasure whenever and however they could.

By the way, what is you aunt's name and when was that party? I may have been that boy! --Just kidding!

    Hey, mgm,

Your wife is Asian? I'll bet your daughter is beautiful. We live near a military base with a lot of Asian persons and their children are all dark-eyed beauties.

Congrations on living in Switzerland, too. Wow.

    Dear waiting,

Need I say anymore ? Well ok I would just like to add that I love boating and sunshine. Soon my boat will be in the water after a bit of a tune up and that's when the fun begins.

    Frenchy,

Did you know a lot of you Cajun's come from our east coast here in Canada? They started to migrate quite a few years ago due to the pitiful unemployment rate and a lot of them worked as iron workers. So you see when you talk about the party spirit and love of life us frenchmen know what your talking about.
