Oscar Mayer Bacon almost six bucks...what gives? A month ago the same package was $3.50.

Yeah. Some of the other brands are still cheaper. Don't know how long that will last though.

Yeah, feed prices have going up because of the ethanol production, so famers are having fewer pigs, and bacon demand is at a high. Well guess I may start eating healthier or buy turkey bacon.

Watch for the price to go back down once people get sticker shock and cut back on their bacon buying.
