For you metal heads out there, there is this great website called encyclopedia metallium. It has reviews on most metal albums and bands, provides great exposure to new and obscure stuff, and has very detailed meta data about the songs.

As much as I love a lot of classic hard rock I find a lot of this modern, doom metal stuff pretty woeful. If it's got no real melody and is mostly about anger and screaming then nup. But each to their own.
