I don't get the tingles like I did when he was on.
My wife goes weak in the knees over David Tennant (And took an instant dislike to River Song at first - LOL)
It took awhile to warm up to Matt Smith, but he's turned out to be a good Doctor.

We find out who the Alex Kingston character (River Song) is today Mahhhhhhh |
I already found out. Was looking on the Doctor Who Meme Generator to find a picture for my post and there were a lot of spoilers. Not too too many... But enough that I have a guesstimate on the big reveals. Sad day.
It's a pity I can't share here. I was very much of a fan of Dr. Who.

LOL. I always liked her - I like the actress and I liked that her character was from the Doctor's future and, much to his bewilderment, had a better sonic screwdriver than he had.
PBS airs the good doctor several episodes behind....
we just recently had the return of the weeping angels
GOD!! the writers are brilliant!!!!!
"I don't get the tingles like I did when he was on."
Tennant is my fav doc of all time (and I've seen them all over the years)
Tonight for the first time Matt gave me tingles as the doctor - cracking episode!
So, Who fans:
What are they going to do when it's time to replace Matt Smith? If they're true to past precedent, 12 regenerations is it for a Time Lord.
This is what happened to the Master when he tried for a 13th:
The Master got around that limitation by taking someone else's body and destroying the rightful owner in the process. But of course we can't have the Doctor doing that.....
TD, I think they'll switch to a female Doctor. It will be River, who will go through a regeneration (maybe) and a new actress, younger, will play her.
Maybe they will have some twist about the Doctors death and River (does she regenerate?) merging somehow, so that there is a Doctor 'lineage' in a female Doctor.
River died in the Library and was made part of the core programme.
Oh my!!!
I was a few episodes behind ......until I saw this thread!
Just finished up!
I must commend the writers they really have done their best to keep us all on board with David gone!
Thanks to Leolaia's earlier comments when Matt took over; my children started calling him 'the foot doctor' and were very, very hesitant ......(but aren't we all when we lose our first Doctor!)
Just curious when they say "Autumn 2011"......what month does BBC start back up with lineup?
For those like me whose PBS is a year or more behind (Matt won't start airing here until July!) may I suggest....
