hehehehe....
This thread was and is for those who NEED to hear it. Truly need to hear it and be reminded of it.
This is an open forum, of course, and no one has to refrain from stating their opinion, disagreement, or even snide comments.
But sometimes, refraining is the loving and compassionate thing to do. If you have it in you to do so, that is.
Peace to you,
A servant of Christ, albeit a very poor one,
Tammy
Sigh...... sorry tec and shelby.... i will keep my flirting and inane ramblings confined to the threads where it is expected/condoned
EE and BP, I see what you did there.
No need to apologize, Elder, but thank you for understanding. I thought you asked a great question, btw. I would have answered it the same. As for the 'man' in you... well, what can be done about that ;)
Peace,
Tammy
Ok tammy im trying to behave and you ask "what can be done about that".... Not fair! Set up! :-)
As for the other..... I struggle.... Mightly, with questions of God and the like.... I cant buy evolution, and i have always felt my prayers were heard...i have a friend who prays for me and i feel those are most effective and comforting...
But i have problems with what you and shelby believe.. Its some parts of the bible are accurate and some arnt... A lot of personal feelings and thigs that i dont see and feel.... I tease cause its easy but i really do think a lot and i read shelbys threads cause they make me think...

Me, as well. They also make me feel, and help me to listen. Hearing was not something anyone ever told me was possible, let along that I might be able to do it. We're not always very receptive to something we've never thought possible.
I understand your struggle with this though. We all seek in our own way (those of us who do seek, that is). I can't always explain some of the things I 'understand', in words.
Peace to you,
Tammy

Dearest elderelite, the greatest of love and peace to you! First, thank you for your contrition. I is very mature and manly... and I absolutely respect (and love) you for it. Again, thank you! Second, you are always absolutely free to ask for clarification. From me... or from the One who gives me the things I share. If you can't hear him (for whatever reason), I would be more than happy to clarify. Either on the board, via PM, or email, if you wish. There is nothing to hide, truly. The Most Holy One of Israel is NOT mysterious - He have been and continues to be revealed to us through His Son. The problem is that no of those who SHOULD have, have been truthful... or knowledgeable... as to how to access the SON.
So, okay, I'm a small fish. And okay, I'm a girl. And okay I'm not old. And okay I don't associate with a religion. And... I'm black (which, for some, and for many years, was virtually unheard of in some circles). But apparently none of that mattered. What mattered... is that I had a tiny bit of faith.
So, please, don't feel as if your questions don't have answers or can't be answered. Neither is true. To coin a phrase, "The answers ARE out there." You just need to know who to ask. The answer to THAT is the Holy One of Israel and Holy Spirit, JAHESHUA, the Chosen One of JAH (MischaJah), who is the Son and Christ of the MOST Holy One, JAH... of Armies... and the King of Israel, God's Household.
May you be given ears, then, if you wish them, to HEAR... especially when the Spirit and the Bride say to YOU:
"Come! Take 'life's water'... FREE!"
I hope this helps and, again, peace to you... and your household!
YOUR servant and a slave of Christ,
SA
Dear, dear Tams... the greatest of love and peace to you! For what it's worth, I think you're a GREAT servant of our Lord. I consider it an honor to "serve" with you and am always grateful for your insight and input. Thank you, my dear one, truly!
YOUR servant, sister, and fellow "servant" of Christ,
