Bobby Orr is my favorite player that I never got to see play (besides YouTube). There are many that say he is simply the best ever. I like to think so.

Yes,,, I agree ... Gretzky had a long career -- who knows what Bobby would have accomplished? His short career was awesome,,, imho, the only players that come close are the Great one and Gordie Howe.
edit ::: I watched bobby's whole career - learned to love hockey from my older cousin and uncles, and my dad -- when bobby quit, so did I lol

I'll throw Mario Lemieux into that mix. Probably the most purest talent to ever play, but he too had lots of health issues. Mario would be my favorite player I did get to see play.
Two thoughts on the Bruins...
Thomas is playing incredible and so fun to watch. How can you not like that guy?
Milan Lucic is bad ass. He coulda played a heavy in The Godfather. -

The funniest thing I ever saw Orr do was the First game at home and they introduced all the players and he came out and fell on his Ass........
