As he is now... his ROTC photo. David had very long hair before his walk. He cut it the week before he began his walk, and has kept it short ever since.

And to think we could all still be trapped in the borg! David would have never had the chance to do this if his mom hadn't left the organization.
His jw grandfather couldn't understand why he would do this... but in the end was very proud of what he accomplished.
Poppers... it is a Marine Uniform... He's in the ROTC program, and spent part of last summer at Perris Island.

Here's Aubrey... the day before her horrific accident.. at the starting point of David's walk
and now... with her kitten, Nadia
Drs did an amazing job. We could have lost her...came pretty close. Every bone in her face was broken.. Her mandible was split in 2 at her chin. There was a blood clot close to her brain.... gives me chills just thinking about it...
