Yeah.

The original Japanese lyrics have much "coined words" by Mr. Inoue, and have also much "abstract" expressions.
Therefore, probably, the correct translation into English from Japanese is impossible.

Probably you can imagine lyrics, seeing those images.
Even Japanese people cannot explain the meaning of those lyrics to you correctly, IMO.

MY best childhood memories were in the summer at the seashore. I was not raised a jw so i had leisurely summers running in the waves, building sandcastles, playing ping pong and listening to records it was great fun and at night we would sit in the lifeguard stand and look at the stars.
