My fathers day -as a father

  I am a very fortunate father. 5 children, 3 girls and 2 boys.

  This is the personal note written inside the card from my youngest daughter, who just became a mother last July.

  "Things I love about you, Dad...

  I love that you always make me laugh and you're never too grown up to be silly...

  I love that you never talked down to me and always made me feel smart...

  Most of all, I love that I get tp share you with my daughter and watch you make her giggle like you always did with me.

  I love you, Dad.

  Forgive me this indulgence but I am a little emotional this eveing after talking to all my adult children today.

  I got my first Father's day present yesterday. From my Mother-in-law. She eralized what I did for my kids (step-kids) and thought In should have something. For some reason my JW kids won't celebrate Father's Day. There is nothing Pagan about it and nothing in our literature that even suggests it might be wrong, but WTF......
