How about all of human history until the Industrial Revolution? People were slaves, serfs, peasants, sharecroppers, indentured servants, etc. for thousands of years, until relatively recently. Even now, the majority of people on the planet have to work all day just to have the bare necessities of life. (forgive me if I break into a Disney song)

JWs are completely ignorant. Ignorant of other cultures, other countries, other religions, history (even their own), the Bible, science. They just don't know anything. A JW who has any knowledge or intelligence quickly becomes an "apostate".

About a year ago I ran into a witness that I know well. He was on about how bad things are, a witness friend of his who is in business talked of salespeople at his business reporting how so many were defaulting on payments and on and on. He told me that "big things", and escalation by the fall. Course that was last fall. Saw him again a few days ago at timmies coffee shop. By the time I got my coffee and got turned around he was long gone. Wonder why.

2) that the financial crisis will cause armargeddon because the goverments of the world will get strapped for cash and will look around to see where they could get more. Then they will see that Christindom has all the cash and then they will plunder Christindom to get their wealth for themselves thus fullfilling the profecy of revalation and starting armargeddon off!

LOL That's why they have printing presses. Money will never run out, the problem is controling the money flow and debt. The more money or credit the bankers release to the public the faster devaluation and inflation takes place. If the governments will turn to tax religion is to help with their spending habits and bring down deficits or debt - will that happen? Maybe but it's not like they will go and ban churches. Best thing is to keep religion but tax it just like they should allow all the drugs but tax them.
