What I find is that they can never explain it from the bible to their own understanding let alone mine. I found jws that were in for 40 years and could not explain 2520 to 1914.

The doctrine is just a treadmill.. it's not actually important for them to stay in. That's why new doctrine is so exciting, it's like a new treadmill, less boring than the old one. Their unwavering obedience to the GB is the actual issue here.

Destroy their faith in the Governing Body and you might succeed in helping them see their doctrines are false.
