Watchtower on Demon Materialization

It is more than remarkable to think the brains that bought into acts of period hoaxers also cooked up the infamous blood taboo taught and imposed by Watchtower.

sometimes hard, sometimes soft, sometimes wet, sometimes dry and the octopus medium shrinks to half it's size... great stuff.
The part of this piece of Watchtower teaching that just kills me is the part saying “… this is the reason seances occur in a dimly lighted room with the medium in a cabinet so that the circle of investigators cannot discern the horrible scene as it really is.”
Dimly lighted? In a cabinet? Cannot discern the horrible scene as it really is?
I mean, c’mon!!! Did Watchtower brains not have even two cells rubbing together screaming that maybe, just maybe, the whole thing was a trick? And, how on earth is an investigator supposed to investigate anything that is set up so they cannot discern it? "This is the reason" my ass!
This was a teaching of Watchtower’s “faithful slave” that kept its legs for decades! And, these are the same brains that concocted Watchtower’s unique blood taboo that to this day is still resulting in premature deaths.

Few groups could beat the Society on Demon Stories, they could put Slasher Flicks to shame. Do any remember the stories from the 60s of hands coming out of TV sets and changing the channels or the flaming voodoo doctors that would appear on the roads in Haiti and freak out Witnesses on the way to Meetings.

Never heard of the 'flaming voodoo doctors' but ya in our area, the hand came out of the TV when some disobedient Dubs were watching either Bewitched and/or I Dream of Jeannie. I also remember hearing the one where some Witness housewife was watching Bewitched and the same thing that popped up in Samantha Stevens' living room suddenly popped up in this sisters' living room. Hearing crap like that scared the holy hell out of me as a child.
No wonder this religion is paranoid if they are sprouting crap like this out. Better watch out! There's a demon on your back! lol
I have heard my fair share of demon stories and JW. One I have heard of was about some young guy who didn't listen to the old farts Jehovah's wisdom and decided to go see the movie, The Lost Boys. His parents were away from the house, so he took it upon himself to be a big boy and go see this movie by himself. After the movie and walking home alone at night, he was feeling very scared and jumpy from the flick. Upon getting to his house and walking in, for some odd reason he looked up. On the top of the stairs was one of the characters from the movie. He ran out of the house and stayed with some neighbors until his parents got home.
The sister who told me this story looked like she wanted to freak out just by telling it. I did all I could to keep from laughing in her face. lol
Wow. When I pick up my coffee mug, my weight increases by approximately--and this is just a guess, now--approximately the weight of the coffee mug. What DEMONISM and DEVILRY is this???? Must be the sorcery of the Metric system!!
For people who warn about avoiding spiritism, they sure seem to express an extremely thorough knowledge of how seances work! I never heard of anything like that before!
I used to hear stories of people playing a certain video game and the controller getting invisibly picked up and playing on its own. Oh, and Mom always told me she heard voices and that the voices told her the JWs were the ones who knew the truth about them. They would also threaten her and crack jokes. So naturally, she joined the JWs, who say they know the truth about the demons. And also threaten her. And crack jokes... Okay, that's wrong--no correlation there, sorry!! I retract that!!
But they were writing some seriously sick stuff back then. Jesus would be saying, "Oh, Laaaaaaawd no!"
