Seems like the author of that article is not aware of the Witnesses' recent understanding of the prophecy set out in Matthew 24:34 (namely the 'overlapping' generations of annointed), which wipes out much of the disillusionment the brothers would have felt if they realized how much the generation of 1914 has been stretched out.

Hello Broken P, Johnny the mysterious aledged Bethelite is still in contact with me. I would love to share with JWN the latest information he is devulging , but whenever this subject comes up chaos and pandemonium breaks out.
Close to 100 thousand clicks over 50 threads, Hundreds of posts about Johnny the Bethelite have been made here. Any topic with Johnny appearing gets lots of attention.
If the members of JWN want more Johnny and can behave civily..... more posts will come forward.

Not true I have to say . . . the article does cover that point completely. Rick seems to miss the fact that the introduction of the overlapping generations teaching pre-empts any dissonance regarding 2014. Most of those that have a problem with it will have already confronted the 100 year issue. There are plenty here who have ditched the WTS for that very reason.
Those still there in 2014 have already taken their pill . . . for them 2014 will be just another year. 2014 means something to Rick . . . but absolutely nothing to anyone else. There's Watchtarded and there's Ricktarded . . . and there's everyone else.
