I won't come right out and tell you where they get their information from, but I'll give you a hint: the sun don't shine there.

That is a very interesting find.

Firstly as you mentioned, it shows that the GB claim they can communicate with the dead, despite criticising others that make similar claims.

Secondly, it shows how screwed up the Watchtower interpretation of Revelation is. John is talking with the 24 elders in heaven, yet supposedly they are the anointed that were not resurrected until 1918. So therefore John must not be John, but be figurative of the Anointed on earth after 1918 but before 1935, talking to the anointed that were raised after 1918 but not the anointed on earth. How complex they have made things so as to try to fit with a 20th century Watchtower centric interpretation.

It sounds like a rehash of The Finished Mystery, 1917

"8:3. And another angel. - Not the "voice of the Lord," mentioned in the preceding chapter, but the corporate body - the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society, which Pastor Russell formed to finish his work. This verse shows that, though Pastor Russell has passed beyond the veil, he is still managing every feature of the Harvest work "The Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society is the greatest corporation in the world, because from the time of its organization until now the Lord has used it as His channel through which to make known the Glad Tidings."

Note that this one doesn't say, 'it seems', it says 'shows' and 'is'.

... it shows that the GB claim they can communicate with the dead, despite criticising others that make similar claims.

Ahh not quite. The answer I got to that one was, it's not that way around - the GB's not communicating with the dead - the resurrected ones in heaven are doing the communicating.

But isn't there a term for 'dead' spirits communicating with the living - "channeling" or something like that? LOL.

    "This suggests"...

    "It may be"...

    "It seems"...

I'd say the Governing bum buddies have no freakin' idea!

They are so muddied up in teaching, have made so many new lights and books they wish would go away that they are not sure themselves anymore as to just what the current line is.

How much harder it must be for the writing department, hobbled by the weight of superfluous watchtowers to consult in writing so called new material. Add the millstone around the neck of the legal eagles...

The language says it all... read between the lines and they are not sure of anything.
