I have been with my current partner for 4 years now. He is my best friend.

I don't want to count my jw marriage, my second, because it was not good. Andy I have known for 11 years. We aren't together in the sense of boyfriend and girlfriend anymore, but we still cherish each other and get along so well.

VANDERHOVEN 7 - Congrats on 40 years with your lady ! You should be proud of that accomplishment ! My mom and dad in their mid 80's have been married 64 years now ! Incredible. Mrs. Flipper's parents have been married 57 years ! Mrs. Flipper is the only lady I ever dated whose parents never divorced ! Trips me out when I think of it ! In a good way though. Her folks are great people ! We get along fantastic

EMPTYINSIDE- Yeah, it was tough dating as a young JW teenager because we had to sneak around to get a kiss in or just to make out ! LOL !
However I finally found the right woman for me in my mid 40's ! Took me awhile, but it was worth the wait ! Thanks for the kind words for my wife and me , Peace out, Mr. Flipper

Congratulations to Vanderhoven7 and his wife(?) for 40 years.
TotallyADD and I passed the 37 year mark in March. Like typical JWs we dated for less than a year before we married.
It matters not the length of time but the strength of the relationship.

First marriage lasted 4 monthes..................please dont stone me to death for this.....it lasted 4 monthes because I fell in love with my present hubby Kev. I got my divorce through, and Kev and I married asap...together for 14 years now, and its still Irresistable Bliss. Love of my life x
