To be honest, I found the transformation of Anakin very lacking and anti-climatic.
Palpatine wasn't an evil genius manipulator he was just Evil Genius Manipulator forumla.
Watch the Dark Knight and X-Men: First Class if you want a unique brand of sci-fi evil masterminds.

Agreed Sab. I actually really liked Revenge of the Sith (but not nearly as much as the originals)...but how could Lucas turn Vader into a whiny, sniffling noodle of a man in that scene? It was embarassing.
