Well to date I've met several friends of friends. But the biggest shocker was finding a former elder and his family on this board. Well actually it was a pleasent surprise and they are doing ok. I'm sure I'll bump into others I knew

The amount of 'spying & snooping' on here by active JW's is probably amazing. Bet there is a big game that goes on trying to figure out different ones in the cong. based on JWN posters posts. Probably a modern-day Salem witch hunt, only hunting for WTS internet apostates.

I found someone I knew from 30 years ago almost the first week I posted here over 5 years ago - a fader who was hanging on for family.
One of the benefits of being gone from the JWs long enough that you can post in your real name without fear.

No I wouldnt be shocked.
As far as good standing theres a lot of JW's in good standing, that committ adultry, get drunk, cheat and steal in all kinds of ways
get caught and get disfellowshipped.
JW's are just people and human nauture is human nature.
Curiosity killed the cat. So theres probably a lot of cats here.
