Jim Gaffigan - Beyond the Pale was hilarious ! I bought the DVD and once in a while I comes on Comedy Central and I watch parts of it - does not get old.

Because comedy is so diverse, I can't name just one. Here are my favorites of those living (in no particular order, after the top three):

Russell Peters Russell Brand Chris Rock Ron White Bill Engvall Jamie Foxx Margaret Cho Steve Harvey Sinbad Dave Chappelle The Old Eddie Murphy Jerry Seinfeld (if I'm in "mixed" company)

I really can't handle "lukewarm" comedy (where I come from - the "streets" - you had better be really funny; no one laughed "just 'cause" you were up on stage). So, I need it to be "real"... relatable... and funny as heck!

My wife and I really enjoy Dane Cook. I know, his comedy is immature but that's how I like comedy. He is so off the wall and over the top wacky and a great physical comedian.

Saw him live at a Comedy Central Tour Night at the University of Glamorgan a few years ago just before he made it big and was hooked. He's also quite fit.

Bill Bailey & Tim Minchin's musical stand up is ingenious.
