I've sent quite a few new PMs on a number of subjects but had no responses. Am I being ignored or is there some sort of IT problem? I don't want to be a pest and nag....but if it is an IT problem I'd like to get it fixed.
And I've had 4 pm's come my way....but all the responses I've sent back have gone unanswered.
Or perhaps being a relative newbie...I shouldn't expect PMs to be answered yet until others are more comfortable with my presence here? I don't know the protocol.
I have recieved PM's from other people and responded successfully. So it's not the system.
Well you see, sometimes when a man and woman love each other very much or get drunk....yeah, i clearly didn't read the OP
Some peeps may be on vacation or maybe they don't like your PMs or they don't know that you can get a PM or simply don't notice it.
As there is no indication of receipt of PM's; some posters do not look to see if they have PM's
Hence why some posters raise a new topic to tell whoever they have a PM.
I have never had a problem with PM's; BUT I look most days to see if I have any.
I can't see there is any problem with you! as your posts have been well written and sensible.
Try sending one to me!!
Some dont look at their PMs regularly.
You will see loads of threads with titles like
"outsmartthesystem you have a PM". to draw their attention.

as the system does not notify people they have a pm some people notify the recipients via thread that they have a pm.
