Colorado and Alberta are both in the Mountain Time Zone and the state and province are observing Daylight Savings Time, which I absolutely hate. That puts us seven hours behind British Standard Time, Hairyhegoat. As for the information, you're very welcome!

Off topic, but while gathering some information for you, I realized that suddenly I didn't feel like an alien resident anymore, just waiting for this fabulous country to be destroyed at armagddon.... waiting for the REAL life(paradise)to begin! Omg how stupid!!!!!!!!!
This my country, the land of my birth....and for the first time in almost 50 years I am so proud of it (yes damn it PROUD). If for nothing else thanks for that.

Yes I'm in Vancouver myself but be prepared for a generally higher cost of living in Vancouver as apposed to living in most parts of Alberta.
The weather here is a little more temperate than what you can expect in Alberta, a little more rain, a little less snow.

I have family in Alberta, my Uncle and cousin work for a Dunlop plant there.
I'm sorry your dad is being such an asshole - remember it's the cult personality and the fallout from latest poison dispensing session, that has caused this.
