Thanks for your information. I did everything possible I even contacted this guys parole officer. He was on the internet, he had flyer's handed out around he lived, not many JW's lived by him expect one of the elders who freaked out when the flyer's went out, because this guy let everyone know he was a JW. This elder did not want Jehovah's name to look bad with this guy being labeled a child molester to the world it would not look good.

He did not live close to a school or anything but at the meetings he loved children. He was a mentor to one young boy who was about 10 who had a baby sister. This guy just loved to hold and take care of the little sister who was mentally challenged and the elders thought it was great. It got them out of having to do it and because the mom was a single woman and the kids needed a man in their lives it was a win, win to the elders.The parole officer told me that he was one of his best best clients that he had to watch. This guy was really good at convincing people he was wonderful. But so have so many other look at Phillip Garrido. The parole officer told me it was the parents responsibility to make sure he did not hold their children and if the elders were not telling the parents that they did have the internet to look at so it was not just the elders to blame the parents could always check out everyone in the hall if they wanted to.

Anyway with my big mouth the word did get around the hall and finally he moved out about a year ago it was after I stopped going to the meetings. The one elder who told me he had moved got so mad at me when I asked if he was around children in his new hall. I do not even know what hall he moved to.

It just makes me so mad at the way they hide child molesters.

I assume from what you say above that this mom did not know. And that is the starting point to kill the logic from that elder prat. I would have said if all the congregation knows, why is it this mom does not? If this information is on the Internet and in the public domain you have every right to tell anyone you like. If the elders don't like it, let them reprove you for gossipping or something, then you can tell everyone you were reproved and why...it's not gossipping if it's about yourself :)

A person listed as a "sex offender" is not necessarily a pedophile. For example if an 18 year old man has sex with his 16 year old girlfriend he can be charged with a sex crime (statutory rape, contributing to delinquency of a minor etc.) A conviction for anything sex related gets you put on the sex offender list.

What about the pedophiles they aren't aware of?? Just because someone gets the Privilege™ of saying a public prayer in a KH / Field Service Arrangement™, doesn't mean they are appropriate around children.

Women aren't allowed to offer public prayers in a KH... are they all pedophiles too?
