    Hi A Guest,

I have a sincere question for you.

What do you mean when you sign off each of your posts with "A slave of Christ"?

I do not remember Christ asking us to be his slave.

When you sign off like this, is this your way of showing humility?

Thank you in advance for any explanation you can give.

    Hey there!

    Doing fine.

I've been thinking about doing a "Lady Chatterly's Lover" thing for Oompa's thread, but had to hold off. Delay is good, eh?

No, I'm here, dear Robdar (the greatest of love and peace to you, dear one!). I was just signing off and saw this; figured I'll respond before turning in.

    Hi A Guest,

Greetings, dear Watson, and peace to you, as well, dear one!

I have a sincere question for you.

    Of course! Ask away!

What do you mean when you sign off each of your posts with "A slave of Christ"? I do not remember Christ asking us to be his slave. When you sign off like this, is this your way of showing humility?

It is not a sign of humility, dear one... and no, my Lord does not call me, or anyone, his slave. We are his friends, his brothers, his children (he calls me, "Child"). I first "heard" it when some of the "revelation" was being shared with me (Michael: "All I am is a fellow slave of you and your brothers who have the work of witnessing about Jah eShua." I hear the scriptures revealed; not read them - and so I heard Michael saying this and somehow it stuck with me.)

I use it because it reminds me of what my Lord means to me and what I have chosen to be for him. Which both remind ME... of who some here are, that they are HIS sheep, not mine... and that since I am his slave... I am their servant, as well.

Now, you might think that that means "it keeps me humble," but that's not accurate: it keeps me grateful.

Thank you in advance for any explanation you can give.

You are quite welcome, dear one, and I hope that helped.

YOUR servant and a slave of Christ,

So you have chosen to be his slave, he has not asked you to be his slave, correct?

So you have chosen to be his slave,

Since he purchased me back, dear one (again, peace to you!)... with his blood... yeah. I realize that I owe my very life to him... and so I give it. Since I no longer "own" myself... but have him as a "husbandly-owner"... and call him "Lord"... and consider him my Master... yes, I have CHOSEN to be his slave. Please note, I realize... and choose... these things. Me... SA. I am not speaking for anyone else but myself - and perhaps my children. But I am NOT saying "Christ died for YOU." Whether that is true or not is between him and you. All I'm saying is that I know he died for ME... and I am so grateful for that... that I willingly give MY life to him... in exchange.

he has not asked you to be his slave, correct?

Nope, he has not. Not me, personally. But he never HAS to ask. Those of who do, make the choice willingly. It is our doing, not his. But... why do you ask?

    Again, peace to you!

YOUR servant and a slave of Christ,

SA, who's wondering why dear Watson doesn't just come right on out and state what it is he wants to know... because it seems like he's "headed" somewhere...
