...well, kinda.

Undercover apostate going to new york bethel for one week to just observe, but going veeeeerrry undercover. The (perverted) elder hosting the trip doesnt know that I'm an apostate, and the whole trip is gonna be a big front, but its still gonna be fun to just get away from Milwaukee. Look forward to meeting some of you guys that post on here. Were going to Patterson, Walkill, and then Brooklyn on Wednesday. I'm gonna keep a diary on the whole trip, and I'll post it as soon as I'm done.

All the best Joilette. If there are lurkers from Bethel on this forum, you've probably given enough details to have your group from Milwaukee come under closer than usual scrutiny. I hope you wear well-arranged dress in strict accord with the policies governing those visiting Bethel; better leave the tee-shirt with "I'm an apostate from way back" behind in Milwaukee. And remember, when in the company of JWs you identify yourself as 'one of Jehovah's witnesses' not as a jehoba witless. Good luck girl. PS, almost forgot, if any of the brothers separate your group and interrogate you one-by-one about whether you're the apostate who posts on this forum, the correct answer is "No, I'm not, but all the others on the bus are" then run for the nearest exit.

Maybe you should visit the CIA's and FBI's websites to see if there are resources on how to sleuthe better.

Probably not a problem but -- I do believe the WT monitors this forum. Too much information at this stage. The CIA does not hold a press conference before the Bin Laden kill.

I visited Bethel frequently as a kid, not at all interested. It was large for a kid, but small for an adult. When I pass by outside now or take the subway, the sheer numbers - it looks like thousands of men from an alien space ship - and the size freak me out. Everything else in the area is small scale.

I don't think I'd worry too much about being caught. The "Johnnys" who monitor the Internet are apostates, too. Besides, by the time their reports get up to the big boys your trip will already be over and done with.
