ok i know what you are going to say.

so dont say it. just bare with me here.

i really really need to compile a comprehensive list of doctrines or

teachings that the watchtower is Currently holding that is wrong.

Can you try to be objective?

I know most of you sincerly dislike what the watchtower stands for but could you pleae not let this cloud your judgement in replying to this post.

a sign of clouded judgement would include a reply like

    "Everything."

So can you please try to give your reasonable opinions.

Leeeeet's see! Everything..., but if you wait around long enough everything will return to it's original teaching then it will change again.

    EVERYTHING!

Just kidding. On occasion, the Watchtower does actually manage to propogate some good things, although this is rare. For instance, they've had articles about Jesus' words "Treat Others as you would treat yourself" and so on.

But just because an apple looks good from the outside, doesn't mean you should eat it if you know it has a giant hairy worm inside!

There are many websites that expunge the atrocious errors, chauvinism, hypocrisy and general lack of information in the Watchtower, I suggest you follow some of the links people will doubtless be posting here...

Read their interpretation of the book of Daniel, particularly the ones pertaining to themselves. The dates they provide and the future they prophesize is just bogus. Especially after all the other mistakes they've made.

hmmm, i think "everything" just about covers it. The "religion is a snare and a racket" doctrine is pretty old light now.

WTS doctrines is basically built on Christian beliefs in theism, special election and a form of afterlife, all of which are nonsense. Since this is the foundation, I cannot see anything else can possibly be right.

One can argue that the WTS is right in there not being a trinity, a burning hell, an immortal soul, but these are negative doctrines. The positive doctrines are no less wacky, and in some instances more so.

    1)Failed prophecy.

    2) Lying about failed prophecy beginning since at least 1921 in "the harp of God' book and continuing to this day.

    3)Nazi collaberration

    4)Lying about the Nazi collaberation

4)expulsion and enforced shunning of rape and molestation survivors

    5)child baptism

6)expulsion and enforced shunning of children EVEN IN THEIR OWN HOMES.

    7)Lying and covering up about 4), 5), and 6).

8)Collaberating with the United Nations IN SECRET and lying about it for as long as they could.

9)Denying the Malawian Witnesses 25 cent party cards, while allowing Meican Witnesses to cimmit perjury; they lie to this day about it.

10)Preaching death for those who do not become Jehovah's Witnesses and then saying they don't say that, and if they did say it they didn't mean it, and if they did mean it it was old light and now has changed. (See Russian and Georgian Witnesses.

I'm too sick to continue on.

In 1975 a crack team of publishers was sentenced to death by a judicial commiteee. They promptly escaped from the cult and now live life on the run. If you have a problem ... and if you can find them ... maybe you can contact the A--postate Team"

Theologically, I think they have a lot of truth, but they sure don't have it all. Below is a list of where I think they are either dead wrong or at least off base.

    1. Only JWs go to heaven
    2. Blood transfusions block ones entrance to heaven
    3. The whole cross/stake argument is a waste of time.
    4. Door to door preaching mandated by Jesus
    5. Meeting attendance is a bible commandment
    6. The elder arrangement
    7. They are the "truth."
    8. Disfellowshipping and shunning
    9. Their history of wrong predictions shows they are not God's sole channel of communication, if he uses them at all!
    10. Having a special day (holidays) means losing salvation

That is mostly what comes to mind right now. I know there is more, but just can't think of them right off the top of my head.

If God's Spirit is filling a Kingdom Hall, how is it that Satan can manuever the ones within that Kingdom Hall at the same time?
