Mad's post provides moooooooooo-choh food for thought.
Yes, they often use the name or word "Jehovah" as a synonym for themselves. For example "wait on Jehovah" to take action is equivalent to "wait on us" to do something.
As it's been explained "things don't just happen, we have to make them happen." In other words they do things they "think" pleases the real Jehovah who is up in heaven then say well, Jehovah did it.
Nutty, but that's the "logic" of a cult group. This leads to all kinds of diseased thinking and doings, imposing a danger on rank-and-file as well as human society in general.
How so? Well, seeing themselves as the doers of Jehovah's will, even though He Himself doesn't speak to them, Circuits Overseers and their subordinate elders put "His" (actually "Their") will even above "man's will," and "man" includes governments or laws.
If a C.O. wants to know want a husband does in bed with his own wife, no sweat. Wire them up. "Hey, man, it's Jehovah's day. All things get laid naked." And that's a dangerous kind of mis-reasoning.
So see the danger? Again, thanks for the post, Mad. Nice cow icon. Very moooooooooooooving.
