"While on earth , he ( Jesus ) (Here we go, the propaganda stunt of ‘Appeal to authority’!) showed loving consideration for all kinds of people. (Yes! ALL kinds of people! Here the WTB$ is planting the seed of ‘cognitive dissonance’ or double speak because the WTB$ do not follow Jesus in this!!) However, (‘However’….Oh, boy…here we go….) Jesus drew a line between being friendly and being a close friend. (Did he? What like enjoying hospitality with ‘sinners’?) While he was friendly toward people in general, (‘General’? is this a weasel word or blatant ‘hasty overgeneralization’?) he was a close friend only (‘only’? Proof please!) to those who met specific requirements. (What ‘specific requirements’? Where are these ‘specific requirements’ laid down by Jesus? Where did he actually say this? I say the WTB$ are making this up to suit the selfish ends of 7 paedo-protectors in Brooklyn!) The only individuals (‘individuals’ = over generalization. Please give their names) whom Jesus embraced as friends were those who followed him and served Jehovah.'' (…and served Jehovah? How? Were there ‘Jehovah’s Witnesses’ back then or are they referring to devout Jews? ---or--- is this propagandist speak using ‘appeal to authority’ and ‘appeal to fear’? Certainly ‘logical fallacies’ are used in this very destructive lie about Jesus.)Again the ‘US vs: THEM’ propaganda to make the ‘mind cleansed’ {"Minds must be cleansed" (Watchtower, June 1, 1953, p. 350 par. 24)}, JWs close ranks and avoid non JWs……….and avoid each other!

They are always raising the level of suspicion. Not only should jw's avoid so called worldly people but even among jw's you have to be constantly monitoring everyone's behavior in a critical way to see if their good enough to be around. It's a world that continues to close in on you till you disappear as a real person.

They have not been able to create a 'wako' or 'jonestown' commune so they make the JWs construct their own commune that they separate themselves into mentally. A kind of imaginary Beth Shan!

PUNK OF NICE- Nice overview. It's definitely a " me vs. them " attitude the WT society tries to put into JW's. It wouldn't surprise me someday if WT society became a David Koresh or Jim Jones and something dangerous happens to the Witnesses from within.
