Band on the Run
I always forced myself to play very early Beatles music. It was so joyous for me. No matter how upset a smile came to me. It had more to do with the spirit of the Beatles and rebellion from parents than just the music. When I learned John Lennon died, across the river, where I was always looking for him, I tried to mount a personal memorial. It failed. I had spoken to the Dakota staff and they told me he was at the Hamptons for the summer and when he would back. Fools sat with beach chairs when he was in London or LA.
Even with the passage of time, all I can think of his murder when I play early Beatles. It is worse than for oldler Beatles tunes.
Cash's Hurt is very good. I don't know what I listen to now. Maybe Christian chants.

I'm a massive fan of the original, but I find Apocalyptica's version to be hauntingly beautiful. Also, it's very calming to just close your eyes and concentrate on the raw sound of the cellos.
