Are Jehovah's Witnesses ever "good enough", must they remain anxious and fragile for fear they will not be saved by their works?

    @ TrailerParkPioneer...

Start talking about "grace" to the vast majority of JWs and all you'll get are confused looks.

They change the word 'grace' to 'undeserved kindness'....that tells you a lot about their philosophy. A beautiful word is turned into a phrase that just screams 'you are guilty!! You don't deserve anything!! But here we'll throw you a bone of 'kindness' even though it is UNDESERVED!'

@Vidiot ... That's because no one gets any grace in JWism except the 144k, 'member?

The whole reward and punishment system by which the WT operates requires that JWs never consider themselves good enough.

If you worship an immoral deity know to commit genocide at the drop of a hat, you are never good enough. You can only hope that within the myriad to be killed, you are somehow over-looked.

That's the price paid when reality is exchanged for words in a book.
