After leaving the Faith, do you celebrate all of the Holidays?

I celebrate the holidays any way I want.

I'm pagan but celebrate Christmas sans Christ.

    Guess that'd be Yule.

Egg and I celebrate Easter with baskets, again, sans Christ.

We've also visited the Catholic Church because we wanted to experience it.

Just because we can and want to do those things is a good enough reason to do them.

I don't give a flip if God is pleased or not.

I celebrate life and do what I want as long as it doesn't harm others.

No and if I do its done very lightly, most holidays are commercialized $$$$ social events full of pretentiousness as well as disingenuous to create

    public appeal.

Enjoying a celebration with family and friends is hardly commercialized.

We use those things because we want to, not because we are told to.

In fact, much of the stuff you see durring the holidays can be bought at Goodwill and kept for years.

I don't celebrate the holidays because of their commercialism or origins.

They are a good way to enjoy family and friends.

I have always been fascinated with halloween. I love watching classic monster movies and love the Halloween air. The Pumpkins etc. Candy Corn...So......Since I have been out last november of the TROOTH....I started a collection of Halloween stuff. I am a collector by heart anyways so this fits right in.

    Never implied that !

Of course not but we don't have to abide to specific dates in accordance with regulated and established religious traditions,

be it over a commercialized holiday like Christmas or whatever.

I freaking LOVE Christmas. :D I spoil my nieces and nephews every year. And I do mean spoil - the adults get nothing, because we all have enough crap. ;)

Lovely meals, fun celebrations - no guilt, no feeling of self-righteousness by not celebrating. Life is good. :D

After a few quiet years of not celebrating anything I slowly added a few holidays in, much to the surprise of my never a JW husband. I even bought him a flag for the house for his birthday one year.

After my child was born, it was full on celebrating everything. I love to experience his joy on the holidays, helps make up a bit for all the ones I missed.

I celebrate my birthdays without my family.

Not having a religious bone in my body, I don't bother with any of those.

I have tons of Christmas decorations around--which stay up all summer. The halls get decorated for Halloween and Easter as well as Christmas, contributing to the atmosphere for others instead of trying to do away with it as I might have as a witless.
