Jehovah DOES hear and answer our prayers...........

    @Breakfast-I too suffered serious mental illness years ago and prayed constantly for relief. None came. Had I had to pray on bended knee, my knees would have holes in them from so much praying. I prayed for years as did my parents to me to have some mental peace. Peace finally came after I was DF'd and felt that I could finally get professional mental help. (Paxil is a friend). Counciling helped alot, the medication even more.

    @Punk-no, I don't believe prayers are answered. Never seen any personal evidence, no matter how hard I've looked.

    You know there were nights when I prayed VERY emotionally to the point of tears. Usually when I was going through some hardship. Hours of pouring out my heart and soul....Hours wasted. Not a single one of those prayers I wasted so much emotional energy on were answered. F**k the Watchtower God Jehovah.

    That sounds like an answered prayer to me...but many probably wouldn't think so.
