More apostate hating from the Watchtower

It is quite harrowing to think that if the JW's had the authority to kill unbelievers like Jehu did in those days, then I'm certain they would carry it out. In some articles i have read in the Watchtower, they almost sound upset that that 'privilege' no longer exists.

We should expect nothing different from an organization which matches the description given by the apostle Paul: "But wicked men and impostors will advance from bad to worse, misleading and being misled." --2 Timothy 3:13

Isn't using this Biblical account to make their point about the dangers of apostates an example of a "Strawman" argument. They seem to have oversimplified one side of an issue to prove a previously held point.
They assume that those who were slaughtered for their offences against God in this Biblical example are equal to anyone who dares to question the Watchtower Society today. You don't even have to be a Baal Worshiper....simply walk away from the organization and you are equated to someone in the Bible who was worthy of being slaughtered for his offenses toward God. How is this even provable? Yet many will sit in the WT study not really paying attention and buy into the whole notion and start applying it to some family member or former friend.

How ironic they use the example of Jehu to follow.
Jehu,s rise to power was one of the bloodiest in
Israel,s history. True, although in obebience to God
command to destroy the corrupt and wicked from the
land. Jehu ordered the offcials of the capital city
of Samaria to kill all of the royal Princes of the
former king (childrens) to end his dynasty. The
next morning, their severed heads were delivered
to Jehu.( just lovely)2 King 10;1-7
Now after all this killing, after he destroyed the
temple and killing the Ministers of Baal, Jehu
ironically and wrongfilly, tolerated the worship
of the Golden Calves. Sweet guy.

"... Today, no servant of Jehovah uses physical force against opponents of pureworship. “Vengeance is mine,” God says..."
To inject this lame disclaimer into the middle of a bloodthirsty-toned diatribe showing how God Himself deals with apostates is such an obvious "wink, wink, nudge, nudge" it's stupid.
This paragraph from the WT absolutely belongs alongside the "mentally deseased" discussion that is currently in the press.

Omg.
It's like they're reverting back to their 50's articles. So much hate.
I was reminded of the same thing.
- Watchtower 1952 November 15 p.703 "Being limited by the laws of the worldly nation in which we live and also by the laws of God through Jesus Christ, we can take action against apostates only to a certain extent, that is, consistent with both sets of laws. The law of the land and God's law through Christ forbid us to kill apostates, even though they be members of our own flesh-and-blood family relationship. However, God's law requires us to recognize their being disfellowshiped from his congregation, and this despite the fact that the law of the land in which we live requires us under some natural obligation to live with and have dealings with such apostates under the same roof. ? Satan's influence through the disfellowshiped member of the family will be to cause the other member or members of the family who are in the truth to join the disfellowshiped member in his course or in his position toward God's organization. To do this would be disastrous, and so the faithful family member must recognize and conform to the disfellowship order. How would or could this be done while living under the same roof or in personal, physical contact daily with the disfellowshiped? In this way: By refusing to have religious relationship with the disfellowshiped."
Despicable.
