arent they always on the verge of a majaor breakthrough? It's how they get their funding.
If only I got a dollar for every time the news pointed to some potential cure for cancer, I would be as rich as them.

This OP relates to a topic that is a sore spot for me. We all know that HPV causes uterine cancer.
(makes me wonder whether other viruses cause other cancers ,,, really 'we' know so little)
The vaccine is effective for both genders. So why is Gardasil only being pushed on girls? Another case of gender discrimination; make the femalses responsible for disease prevention,,, same as birth control.
