I am at a loss as to understanding why some people give so much time and energy to responding to people like OBVES on this board ,,,,,,,,and of course he`s not the only one , ,,,,,,,,,why do we give these guys the platform to espouse their dribble ? on this site ? It is an exjw site is it not,? not a platform for promoting some other quasi religous beleif who wants to promote their own ego`s

OBVES is just digging his own grave with all these foolish predictions... so we are helping to dig the hole a bit deeper... it's like seeing 130 years of WTS FAIL condensed into a few months... too good a oppotunity to let slide...

Well, perhaps it's because we've learned to be more tolerant of crazies since leaving the borg.
I can guarantee you that many such as OBVES are barely tolerated amongst mainstream Witnesses.
Let them come here and at least get some 'human' interaction.
Probably because we could never question our cult leaders, we find being able to do so here a refreshing change. Even those with extreme views are allowed to air them here. Do I believe OBVES? No. Would I defend his right to express himself here? Definitely. Go OBVES!

the world is fond of what is it's own. So It would be hypocritical to say 'well He's/she's not an ex jw...so we should not talk to her/him or give him/her the time of day' ...when the jw's are doing the same thing about disfellowshiped ones. ' He's not a jw anymore so we're not gonna talk to Him/her giver her/him the time of day'
or
'their views are so different, not 'of our own' ...that we should reject him/her' funny that statement ...can be made be exjw and jw's, IF they're 'worldly' and unaccepting

i miss my jw friends. And I've told them 'Just be my friend. Lets put aside the whole religion thing and just be friends' ....but alas....they don't. Cause GODS GONNA KILL THEM AT ARMEGEDDON FOR BEING MY FRIEND AND PRACTICING LOVE! dun dun DUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
