But I'm not putting as much effort into it, this year - 'cuz Halloween is on a MONday... What a drag...
Catch me a couple years ffrom now, when Halloween is back on a Wednesday or a Thursday...
I love the fall October and November season and decorating the house and giving candy to little angel trick or treators, It's so much fun. I remember when I first left the WT I was uncomfortable about celebrating the fall holloween festivities. I talked about with my therapist and he said something to me that I will always remember, and it made the differnce in being freed from the cult mindset about the fall holdays. He told me "you came into the religion with your decency and good standards, and when this religion made you go against your good standards, it bothered your conscience and your heart. Which is more evil in your heart, A magazine or book with pictures of people and children and puppies being killed by an anry narccistic blood thirsty God and wild beasts with blood dripping from their long teeth, or a little ballerina, or princess coming to the door with her mommy and baby brother in the carriage dressed like a superman, asking for trick or treat candy So I never had an issue over halloween again.
