My first apostate video. When I first saw it, I didnt believe it (thought it was satan making jehovah's organization look bad, etc). But as soon as I started doing my research, I thought about this video, and everything that I researched, and it was ALREADY in this video. Awesome video....I love the intense music!

From the clothing styles, I'd guess that it might have been made sometime between 1976 and 1980...??

It's a bit heavy-handed, but it does hi-light the pain and viciousness of their shunning policy...
Thanks for posting this! I'd forgotten about this video, but talk about powerful. I remember supplying the link to my counselor several years back so that he could get a feel for the WTBTS and what sort of environment we were in.
Out of my counselor's many bits of feedback to me, I'll never forget one of his responses, "There's all sorts of abuse out there. This in particular is very nuanced and subtle, but just as traumatic: spiritual abuse."

Zid,,, while watching it, I figured it was around the late 80's, due to hair and clothing style,,, but then, I lived through that and was a teen in the 70s, soo ... lol! my age betrays me ...

It is hard to come to terms with much of the realities about how the gb really operates. And the failed prophecies. And the shunning too. But it felt too over the top and religious.
The the video was too religious for me however. It came across as a religious propaganda peace against the witnesses and for making Jesus Christ into God. I felt I was watching the 700 Club. Christendom's teachings are wrong, not just the Watchtower's.
Interesting video, well made, if a little too Christianity oriented for my taste. Is that Albert Schroeder making his way through apostate protesters around 51 minutes in?
