Haven't they flip flopped on the minister thing?

When mine first joined up and considered himself a minister I truly laughed at that. He, naturally, did not appreciate that. I asked, "so, after 'studying' for 6 months and getting dunked you think you are a minister?" I could hardly believe it! In the real world ministers go to college, often learn Greek and Hebrew, take classes on how to do family and marriage counseling, learn history, etc..etc...

    Ministers?..

Try annoying, volunteer, magazine salesmen with an attitude..

Who wondered why people got pissed off because..

We pounded on strangers doors first thing in the morning to threaten their lives..

While they were still in their Pajamas, trying to wake up..

Why didn`t they want to be AssH*les too?..

Look what it did for us,we were being persecuted!..

The more people we pissed off,the better JW`s we were..

You can`t buy that kind of abuse..

    It has to be earned..

For a long time, JWs weren't "ministers" because that was a term used by the wicked clergy of Christendom.

Then the lawyers found advantages to using the word and the organization suddenly got new light.

I think minimus is cute! I can see him in his little suit. Me? I felt like someone with a physical disabliity (which isn't a bad thing to know).

There was one sister that amazed me. She knew where in her bag was just the right magazine for such occasion that would come up. And then there were the witnesses who knew where in the bible was the scripture they were featuring. I was so jealous. (but here I might add on is where the Lord helped me. The jealousy I might have suffered, in gehenna with that!). Once I had a lovely scripture to share with the nice lady and I was flipping and flipping I looked up at her and I must of been quite a sight. To save my life, I couldn't find it.
