I always copy my comments because this kind of stuff happens on various sites where I have to switch browsers. Now I've talked too much, LOL, and will be quiet. :-)

You are right! But something has happened to people's hearing ability. So they can't hear some perfectly good logic. But it doesn't hurt to keep trying.

It matters to me because decades after fooling myself into believing them -- even though I read the Bible cover to cover many times at their behest and knew they were wrong on so many levels -- it is all so obvious. Their ability to manipulate the mind into abandoning logic over what some have called "new logic" is shared by many faiths to varying degrees, from the creationists teaching Earth and the universe for that matter was all created in six literal days, to many of the world's religions.
Make the Bible fit the facts of scientific and physics reality. Stop contorting reality to conform with preconceived notions and convoluted interpretations of the Bible's simple message. The primary importance of grasping the Bible's theme that immortality of the soul through God trumps other world views that the only lot in life for humans is to end as a lifeless corpse, consciousness ceasing to exist except for a husk that rots and is reconstituted into stardust over the vast eternity ahead... that theme gives hope and meaning to life.
The Watchtower misses the simplicity of Christ's message of loving one another. They made hundreds of billions over the past century in the process of turning Kingdom Halls into cookie cutter houses of worship with the generic conformance in "look and feel" to MacDonald's franchises. Indeed, the Watchtower is serving the fast food of Christendom, and have surpassed the literal fast food empire of MacDonald's by virtue of remaining private. They have zero financial accountability whatsoever. Doomed taxpayers or "worldlings" they teach will die at Armageddon are bankrolling their religious corporation by allowing them to reap the rewards of the British and American empires without paying their fair share of taxes. What kind of example does that set when they have not contributed billions in taxes other corporations their size pay to support the very infrastructure their Kingdom Halls and headquarters thrive under?

I wonder if the naysayers might shut up for five minutes and let the governments of the world consider what they might do about the empire of The Society who threatens in a round about way to take the very ground under the feet of said governments. The atheists will have every body believing "it does not matter" because spirit is nothing. But isn't it man's spirit that determines what will be tomorrow and the next day and the next??
