Englands win over Ireland yesterday put the national rugby side into the number 1 slot in the world rankings. This how the rankings look now:

2 New Zealand

3 Australia

11 Italy

12 Canada

The big show down will come next autumn when England play against the fearsome New Zealand All Blacks. Experts are predicting that even the legendary NZ boys will have no chance against a much-improved English team.

Ok Englishman, I'll let you have the rugby field but in this corner of the world the Red Wings rule the ice and the US will rule the ice in Salt Lake.

Hah, Norway rules the snow!

We won the gold in relay cross-country! Another exciting finish against the pesky Italians. Whew!

Norway has 8 golds in the olympics now.

I was surprised by an impressive 5th place for the US.

(Hehe, Sweden was nr 13, of 15 teams in all.)

Last I heard the US had 16 medals, FYI. Norway *should* rule all things cold, I mean don't you people dig your dens out of the stuff or something???? *LOL*

You have many more active skiiers in alpine and nordic than we have In this part of the country, there is hardly ever snow.
