Damn. Forgot those ones. Great choices lohengren.
meh...
Too bad you don't have a girlfriend watching with you, cuz then I'd recommend:
"Rain" with Joan Crawford
"The Heiress" with Olivia de Havilland...
These are both "old" movies but they have TEETH... NOT your usual sloppy chick flick...
Oh, and "The Women" - but ONLY the old version with Norma Shearer, Joan Crawford [again], Rosalind Russell, and several other memorable old-time stars...
Whoops, that reminds me, "Metropolis" - the REALLY old one!! It's kinda corny in places, but the special effects are pretty darn good for the 1920's...
"Nosferatu" - the old version, and "Shadow of the Vampire" with John Malkovich, Willem Dafoe, and Eddie Izzard, among others...
Magnolia
Annie Hall
Downfall (I was blown away by this film)
Also can't beat a really good crap film like Predator, Rambo and Commando for sheer comedy value.
I collect movies and now have over 800 of them. Relax I won't post them all. How about 1 from most letters of the alphabet?
Sorry there are just too many others I wanted to say butthose are movies I watch every now and then. I will have a Star trek weekend or a Bourne Saturday.
I don't collect TV series normally but I did get all 8 seasons of "24" and that takes more than a week to get through
Damn. Forgot those ones. Great choices lohengren.
