I know it's a ways out, but 2012 ends on a Monday. Should I miss work? Maybe call in on Friday.

Well it depends on exactly when on Monday the world is going to end. If it is going to end later in the day, maybe you could work in the morning and just take the afternoon off? :/

The year ends on a monday but the world is supposed to end on a saturday (dec 22)...so yeah, call in on friday. Im gonna throw a rapture party and welcome the end of the world with a massive orgy.

The date is supposed to be December 21, 2012--a Friday. But, where in the world will that day be registered? If it is in New Zealand or Australia, most of the world will still be in December 20. If it is in Hawaii, most of the world will already be in December 22. If it is in local time, the Rothschilds can escape judgment simply by waiting in Hawaii until "it" reaches California and then hop onto New Zealand or Australia where it is already the next day, missing judgment altogether.
I wonder if anyone that tries to predict or calculate the day of the end of the world ever thinks of things like that.
