You are welcome, GL. I will show him the comments you all give.
What do you think of the music and marching and flags?

Thank you, Designs.
I hope you all can watch the whole video, there are two performances here. The beginning is very bold and dynamic and the ending, when they form the company front, the whole band in a long single line across the field, the music makes those drills in particular very moving. The whole show is moving. The ballad part with the peach colored flags comes from the movie The Day After Tomorrow. Oh yeah and the 20 second interview I did.

Our three drum majors and the News 8 camera guy to the right. Yes, I am proud and excited and shamelessly bragging. This band has given us our Julian again. He had a couple of hard, sad years. So this is amazing. Keep kids busy doing something wonderful like this and they might even become proud of themselves AND their parents. A lot of the band kids call me Nanna.
Note left for me in my car after band practice one night. Thank you, Tori, Justin, Julian & Casey!

Band Geeks? You be the judge. This is Julian and some of his band friends waiting for the limo to pick them up to go to the homecoming dance. If you watched the video of my interview with some of the kids after winning state, you saw Julian 1st on your left. Justin, 3rd on your left. Casey, the girl who cried, 4th on your left and Tori 8th from your left.

Thank you, Spectre, my long lost friend. I can't believe they performed Tempest's Fury for the last time this past Tuesday for the 5th graders.

Here is a video I made with a digital camera of the performance given the last morning of band camp, back in mid August. The kids had just learned the entire music. You can hear the metronome kick in. When you see the trumpets on the left, Julian is 3rd from the left. The first kid is Noah with the glasses and blonde hair. He is 6'3" tall. He's 14 and wears a size 14 shoe. The trumpet seniors dubbed him Little Bear. These kids are playing very well for having just learned the music. They are performing indoors because the tempest had stirred up a real storm out of doors.
