    Hey randy,
I am really computer illiterate, and tried many times to access these files. I never seem to get it though Which format do you suggest I use? I have a Gateway and use Internet Explorer 6. Any suggestions?

    Worked fine here.

You need a program like WinZip to unpack ZIP (compressed) files. Download the evaluation version of WinZip from http://www.winzip.com/ (Windows/PC users only)

To use the Excel (xls) file, you will need Microsoft Excel. If you don't go for the html version. If you can read this, you can read html

Ah, forgot to add: It's best to do a right mouse click + "save target as..."

Thanks Jan. I also just added the full unzipped html page, so you might find it easier to use, though being 2 megs it will take a while to download. :-))

Let me also add: When I think about it, I remember M$ supplies a free Excel viewer. For all I know, it may be built into IE, but it's definately available for download if you search for it. Excel format is easier to handle than HTML for such huge databases.

I've been on the list for about 6 months. I'm REALLY trying to find my friend, Linda Lawhon. McDougall after she was married. Last known address was in Vero Beach, Florida. I've been trying for 6 months to find her. I was hoping if my name was there, she might see it. If anyone here knows of her, please let me know.

BTW, a BIG hug to Randy!! Thanks so much!
